Forgot, Recruitting, Interrupted

This morning, I woke up at 5.07 a.m. Thinking that I'm late for Subuh prayer, I slept back. I just realized that I set my clock 10 minutes faster than the actual time when I heard the azan from the surau, given by Uncle Rashid. Without brushing my teeth, I ran to the surau, did not want him to pray alone. Poor him, woke up early but no one coming.

Luckily I managed to come at the time.

Then, as usual, I became the imam. After reciting al-Fatihah, in my mind I planned to recite Surah al-Furqan Verses 21 - 31 for this morning prayer. However, after reciting Verse 21, I completely no idea what is the next verse.

Crap. I totally forgot the Verse 22.

I paused for a long time before reciting Verse 27 - 31 for the first rakaat (unit of prayer). Hish, embarrassing me.

***

After Zuhur prayer, an ustaz from Bahagian Agama dan Kaunseling (BAKA - Religion and Caunselling Department) had a chat with a 'servant of Allah' (the name is kept in secret to protect his privacy. Well, actually I forgot his name). The 'servant of Allah' complained about the behaviour the department-in-charge of the surau, just like they 'abusing' it.

Well, it's almost true if I, Uncle Rashid and Uncle Nuar are not around.

He also suggested that the BAKA should appoint the people from the nearest surrounding area to become the bilal and the imam for other prayers. Well, it is unavoided that my name was mentioned as the imam.

After that 'servant of Allah' went to work again, the ustaz asked me if I can name a few teenagers (well, most likely he want to recruit a few teenagers as the additional staff of the surau). Unfortunately, I can name not even one person.

***

Well, today, after having a talk with the ustaz, I was planning to give a short kuliah hadith after Maghrib and Isyak prayers. Not for gaining fame, but holding the responsibility to spread the knowledge (since science of hadith is my favourite study). The book I was going to use is the Riyadh as-Solihin Volume 4 written by Imam Nawawi (I just bought that book last Sunday with the price of RM20.00).

However, it always interrupted with the jamaah stood up after the imam supplicated the Almighty. Well, it's already become the habit after Maghrib and Isyak prayers previously. And I haven't told them about that.

Well, I'm going to talk about it with the ustaz tomorrow.

The schedule will be informed later. So, watch out for the latest update of this blog.

After First Three-Week Holiday

Well, now it's already three weeks since I started the long holiday. although it is a long holiday, it still feel bored as usual. Well, I think the boredom level is greater than usual. Previously I had planned some activities to kill this boredom. However, the plan seemed to be failed.

Well, this time I'm not going to rebuilt my plan. I have more works to be done.

I still have 9 surahs to be memorised before the date of the Majlis Tadarus al-Quran (MTAQ) for 2009. However, I do not have any idea of the date for MTAQ. So, I have to memorised them before it is too late for me.

It seemed that the collecting and recording hadith project is interrupted. I just found another alternative for the next year kuliah hadith. So, the project on At-Targhib wa at-Tarhib was going to be cancelled. However, the prject on Al-Musnad Lukhman Al-Yusufi and the calligraphy project are still going on.

Two weeks after today, I am going to attend Multiracial Authors Meeting at Pen View Hotel, Kuching. However, in this meeting there was an poem reading acitivity. I am not sure whether the participants are supposed to prepare their poem(s), but I think I should take extra precaution.
(Err, anyone of you can guide me to the Pen View Hotel...?)

Well, that's all for today.

P/S: The pictures above are just for decoration to make the readers easy to imagine the real situation. :D

Kolokium Penulis Pelbagai Kaum (Multiracial Authors Meeting)

Kolokium Penulis Pelbagai Kaum (or Multiracial Authors Meeting) is a program organised by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka, which will be held at Pen View Hotel, Kuching. Yesterday, I already fill in the invitation form to the meeting.

And these are the programs for the three days (12 - 14 December).

Click on the image to enlarge.

Actually, I just received this schedule via mail from Mr. Jaafar Hamdan, since he was out when I arrived at DBP yesterday.

Lonely ...

Today, I went to the city again to check the latest magazine for next month issue. But then, there's no latest magazine.

* * *

Yesterday, I spent one hour just to send comments to her. She reply my comments so fast. However, after one hour, I didn't received any comments. Probably she did not received any notification email from Friendster team.

Today, the same thing goes. However, after sending a number of comments, I could not send her comments anymore since I have reached maximum allowable comments for her profile. What the ****. =.=

* * *

Today is my first time went to Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) Sarawak branch. The aim is to meet Mr. Jaafar to get my entry form to the Multiracial Authors Meeting. However, when I and my uncle arrived, we were informed that Mr. Jaafar already went out to Pen View Hotel.

However, the entry form filling process still went on. His workmate gave me a piece of green paper. Then, I filled in the entry form.

Now, I'm awaiting for his email for the schedule of the Multiracial Authors Meeting.

Three In One

At first, I thought that she is one year older than me.

Yesterday: after coming back from the surau, I checked my email inbox. I received a comments from her. In the Require Approval box (I have not approve her comment yet at that time), she seemed to be shocked when I said that to her.

Then, I have to apologize to her.

Argh, what kind of start is this?

***

Today: before Asar prayer, I called Mr. Jaafar Hamdan for the third time, to ask him about the Kolokium Penulis Pelbagai Kaum (Multiracial Authors Meeting). Refer to the My Upcoming Program column.
Woman A: Hello.
Me: Err may I speak to Mr Hamdan?
Woman A: Please wait for a while.
Then...
Woman B: Hello.
Me: Err may I speak to Mr Hamdan?
Woman B: Please wait for a while.
After a while...
Woman B: May I know who's speaking?
Me: (state my name and location, of course from Kuching).
- pause -
Woman B: Please wait.
Why must be so 'filtering'?

Anyway, according to Mr Hamdan, the closing date for submitting the entry is 30th November, and the registeration will be done at Pen View Hotel, the place where the meeting will be held.

30th November? Crap, 4 days left. Arghh...

***

I really do not have any idea what happen to this girl: Conan Dakwah.

(Please note that, 'she' I'm referring here is different with 'she' I stated before this part).

I already apologized her for mentioning something that raised up my anger.

Today, she still sulking.
I know you hate this message when you received it. You want to hate, just hate la. You want to mad, just mad la ... (so many words, I don't know how to translate it) ... but I want to tell you, please be open-minded and matched. If you cannot accept what I have said, you have a very high ego. If you want to mad at me, you are welcomed to do so! ... (so on)
Of course I cannot accept what she have said, because she had made wrong accusation. She did not respect my principles and policies, but I apologized her. Now, she said like this to me.

Nah, I don't have high ego as she said when I cannot accept her words.

So I replied:
Oh yeah, forgot to tell. I repeat again: please respect my policies and principles. I respect your policies and principle (if you have). I can be open-minded, but not in all issues. You accused me that I'm ego, go ahead, I'm not angry... I let this thing to Allah to judge it. And I already apologized you yesterday, why you still mad at me? It's clear that it's you who have high ego, not me...
Ahh, girls ...

I Did Not Expect That ...

Last Friday, I did the most 'nonsense', unusual thing ever in my life. Send a smile (in the Friendster) to a number of friends. Including her.

Well, I did not expect that she will send comment to me.

Even though I know her MSN (she's from the other city in Sarawak), and she sometimes online, I did not take that chance to have a chat with her.

And after sending her a smile, she send a comment.

Starting from there, both of us sending comments to each other.

I should do it earlier. Huh, well....

Hadith Collecting and Recording

This entry is for my future reference. Before understand this entry, first, we need to know what is hadith and what is the main structure in a hadith.

Hadith and Its Structure
Hadith (pl. ahadith; lit. "narrative") are oral traditions relating to the words and deeds of the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Hadith collections are regarded as important tools for determining the Sunnah, or Muslim way of life, by all traditional schools of jurisprudence.
(Wikipedia)
One example of hadith is:
Narrated by Umar ibn Al-Khattab, "I heard the Messenger of Allah s.a.w. say: Actions are but by intention and every man shall have but that which he intended. Thus he whose migration was for Allah and His messenger, his migration was for Allah and His messenger, and he whose migration was to achieve some worldly benefit or to take some woman in marriage, his migration was for that for which he migrated."
The red one indicates the narrators, while the blue one indicates the text of the hadith.

Collecting and Recording Hadith
Just like Gospel for the Christians, the Muslims also have their own main books telling the story of our prophet. The only difference is, the Christians have 4 main Gospels (Mark, Luke, John, Matthew), whereas we have six main books of hadith, named Kutub as-Sittah (The Six Books), which consist of:
  1. Sahih Al-Bukhari by Imam Al-Bukhari;
  2. Sahih Muslim by Imam Muslim;
  3. Sunan At-Tirmizi by Imam At-Tirmizi;
  4. Sunan Abu Daud by Imam Abu Daud;
  5. Sunan An-Nasa'i by Imam An-Nasa'i;
  6. Sunan Ibnu Majah by Imam Ibnu Majah.
However, every book was compiled in a number of volumes, makes the price for the books become expensive (even for the translation). And I (as a student who are planning to take hadith courses at the university) need to know hadith well, including the science of hadith.

About the hadith collection, I do not have the authentic hadith books (for example, The Six Books) at my home as my reference. Therefore, I took the iniciative to collect and record the hadith in my own books: At-Targhib wa at-Tarhib and Al-Musnad Lukhman al-Yusufi.

My Ways in Collecting and Recording Hadith
Since hadith is uncountable, so it is very hard to collect all hadith. Please note that.

My reference to find the hadith are these:

I have my own criteria in choosing the hadith from these books to be collected and recorded:
  • There must the the original text in Arabic and the translation.
  • In a hadith, there must be the second narrators (after Rasulullah s.a.w.), the hadith text, and the last narrators of the hadith.
On the authority of Abu Abdul Rahman Abdullah ibn Umar ibn al-Khattab who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Islam has been built on five [pillars]: testifying that there is no God but Allah and that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah, performing the Prayers, paying the Zakat, making the Pilgrimage to the House, and fasting in Ramadan."
Narrated by Al-Bukhari and Muslim
  • If the status of a hadith are known (authentic or weak), state its status.

At-Targhib wa at-Tarhib (The Recommended and the Intimidation)
In this book, 20 hadith which are chosen as students' analysis are recorded in this book. suitable to the title, every hadith are explained in the form of short notes for my use.

This book will be used for kuliah hadith next year. So, if you want to the result of composing this book, you are welcomed to the lecture at a surau in St. Joseph Secondary School, every Saturday morning. I will announce the starting date, insya-Allah.

Al-Musnad Lukhman al-Yusufi
This is not a copy of Al-Musnad Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal. This is my own version of musnad.

In a musnad, the hadith are arranged according to the name of the second narrator, either according to the alphabet or the Sahabats' rank.

For my own musnad, I planned to arrange the hadith according to the name alphabetically.

Quranic Guardian

Previously, when I changed the display name at my Friendster profile, a girl asked me: "Does A.H. means al-hafiz?"

Oh my goodness. I am not that smart to memorised 100 000 hadith complete with their narrators and chains of transmission.

But, I know, to her and most Malays, al-hafiz is a title given to a person who memorised the complete 30 volumes of al-Quran. Well, Malays. =.= This misunderstood need to be corrected. She should call me 'Hamil' (literally means the one who carries).

Anyway, thanks to her for reminding me to do important mission to me: memorising surahs (chapters) of al-Quran for the next year's competition. Well, to be more specific term, guarding the Quranic Verses.

I have joined the Majlis Tadarus al-Quran competition since Year Three. From Year 3 to Year 4, I was under Quranic memorizing (Hafazan Al-Quran) category. Then, from Year 5 to Year 6, I was moved to Quran reciting (Tilawah Al-Quran).

When I was in Form 1 at SAS, I was placed in Syarahan Agama category managed to represent Sarikei to Sri Aman. However, since the SAS student for the hafazan al-Quran was going to finish his secondary education, so the teacher-in-charge put me under that job.

So, from Form 2 until last year, again I participated the Quranic memorizing category. I managed to represent Sarikei again to Samarahan last year. Until now, the memories at Samarahan still frsh in my mind.

But, memorising al-Quran is not as easy as you memorise Biology facts for SPM. In fact, the verses that you have memorised must be maintained in a your mind. And you must always do special revision, in order to prevent any forgotten verses. Talk about strictness.

According to most scholars' tradition, they memorised al-Quran at a very young age, at least before 17. Ibnu Shihab Az-Zuhri memorised Quran before he was seven in only eight days. Huh, sounds impossible.

Back to our main topic. For hafazan al-Quran secondary school, the list of chapters needed to be memorised are:
  • Surah Yaasin (Ya-Sin Chapter) : 83 Verses
  • Surah as-Sajdah (The Prostration Chapter) : 30 Verses
  • Surah al-Waqi'ah (The Event Chapter) : 96 Verses
  • Surah al-Jumu'ah (Friday Chapter) : 11 Verses
  • Surah al-Mulk (Dominion Chapter) : 30 Verses
  • Surah Nuh (Noah Chapter) : 28 Verses
  • Surah al-Insan (Man Chapter) : 31 Verses
  • Surah as-Saff (The Row Chapter) : 14 Verses - added last year
And according to rumours, this year the organiser added another chapter, that is:
  • Surah al-Dzariyat (The Scattering Winds Chapter) : 60 Verses
The total number of verses need to be memorised is 383 Verses - about 6% of total number of Verses in al-Quran.

Honestly, I had memorised a few chapters previously, but because I'm too lazy to revise, some chapter are forgotten. Even the 11-Verses Surah al-Jumu'ah.

I have made up my mind: the way to memorise the Verses.

First, I have to listen to some recitation about a chapter from different reciters. The list of reciter in my choice are:
  1. Sheikh Mahir Al-Mu'aiqely - imam of Masjid al-Haram;
  2. Sheikh Abdur Rahman As-Sudais - Grand Imam of Masjid al-Haram;
  3. the Late Sheikh Ali Jabir - imam of Masjid al-Haram previously.

However, I'm now imitating Sheikh Mahir's style.

Second, I have to memorise 3 Verses in each day. However, for Surah al-Waqi'ah, I have to memorise 9 Verses in a day. Don't worry, the sentences in each Verses of Surah al-Waqi'ah are short.

Third, I have to do revision for the verses I have memorised. To do this, I have to hold my position as the imam (at Surau Darul Ibadah) for Maghrib, Isyak and Subuh prayer for a longer time. Also, I have to wake up at the night to do recommended, optional night prayer. Then, I have to ask my friends or Muslim teacher to check my memorisation.

Duhh, what a hard work. :(

Kucing, Saya dan dot dot dot

Saya masih hairan mengenai kucing-kucing milik salah seorang jiran saya.

Huh, kucing, kucing ...

My Expression

I was just rejected. Again.

I told her via Windows Live Messenger (she's at Sarikei, and I'm at Kuching). Then, she replied that she has boyfriend.

Honestly, I already predicted that.

But, as normal human, I also have feelings.

So, of course, I'm quite sad.

Well, I should tell her last year, shouldn't I?

Arghh...

Now is the time for me to be really serious and no more play-play, isn't it?

Bunch of Problems, Reaching Its Climax (IV)

This is the fourth sequel of my serious inner problem. It is up to you all, whether you want to give your advice, or just be the reader.

Something Wrong ...
Since my mum pregnant again (for my future brother/sister), I observed something wrong in this situation, and these made me feel worry.

First, she was ordered to stayed at the ward for high blood pressure. Alhamdulillah, all praise to God, she was allowed to go out after a day. But, that's not the end.

Second, she had bad cough, and she had difficulty to throw out the phlegm from her throat. And this became worse, when she seemed to be choked by the phlegm. Until my dad had to hit her back a few times before she was okay again.

Now, she was not able to sleep, neither in air-conditioning room nor under the running fan.

To make my situation worst, my dad will be going outstation to Sarikei and Sibu for court case for a week. And I have to take care of my mum. when she sleep Thus, I have to postponed some of the planned activity, including leading the Subuh prayer.

I know, God want to test me, but why must make my mum suffer...? I don't care if He want to test in any ways, but not using my family and relatives.

Arghh...

After 7 Months and 23 Days
It has been 7 months and 23 days since my family moved to Kuching and I started new school life at SJS. And the time passed in a really fast speed.

I bet most of my friends at Sarikei forgotten about a man named Lukhman. Well, it's a bit painful truth to me, but I have no choice except to accept it. When they come to Kuching, not even one of them neither want to meet me, nor (at least) informing me.

Well, I'm not talking about the entire friends. I just said most of them. (this sounds sulky. =.=) But, I have to be grateful because I moved to Kuching. Here, one important lesson I learnt is about a true friend.

Well, I meet different people in different situation. And they have different, unique interest and ability.

For example, I'm very envious to Roland, for such a young age, he managed to get diploma in music recital. This makes me even more spirited to find a teacher to teach me about Arabic caligraphy and then get my degree from the teacher.

I also very envious to Kelvin Ting, for a Malaysian like him have the most fluent English among us (from my view). I'm very grateful, because I can learn more about word usage in English from him. One of them is the usage of the word crap. =.=

Well, these examples I can't find at Sarikei.

But, again, it is very painful for a sensitive person (like me) for some of his friends forgotten about him after a long period of time, even though he always remember his friends.

Well, this worldly life is really like a mirage.

This is the only gift I received from a friend of mine. Well, fortunately she did not forgotten me.

Muslim Nowadays

Believe me, I'm not forcing the non-Muslim reader to embrace Islam. I just want to talk about current issues nowadays in the different situation.

Before Asar prayer, a man from Bahagian Agama dan Kaunseling (known as BAKA) placed some notice at the surau's noticeboard. The notices were about the name of appointed imam and bilal for Zuhur and Asar prayer. To my shock, the date for that duty was started last month.

Today, there was nobody came for the duty. Even the imam and bilal did not come. Only the normal people (for instance, me) came early to the surau. I and the other people waited for the bilal to come, but after two minutes from the actual time, the bilal who was supposed to be on duty today did not come. Under the name of responsibility, I took the job as bilal, giving the azan for Zuhur prayer (but not as imam).

And the same thing went for the Asar prayer. Imagine that.

If no one (in the list of appointed imam and bilal) come, then what for they put the notice? Really baka. (Baka in Japanese means idiot, stupid)

Why don't they appoint more imam and bilal for Maghrib, Isyak and Subuh prayer? Then, I and Uncle Rasyid can relax from being bilal and imam.

Muslim nowadays. Seldom to find a real Muslim. =.=

* * *

Before maghrib this evening, a few people from BAKA came. I thought they will be going to lead the prayers. To my disappointment, they came just want to took quite a number of Surah Yaasin books. They took it because there's a religious ceremony at Kota Sentosa.

While taking the books, Uncle Rasyid complained, "The new one they go, the old one they leave it."

I replied, "Just like human. They leave the old, ugly wife, then find the new, beautiful girl."

Uncle Rasyid laughed. He agreed.

* * *

After the Maghrib prayer, I and the other people who came to the surau talking about things that happening around us. Talk about the behaviour most of Muslim policemen leaving the old surau, pig farm, donating blood, and rugby. =.=

Talk about donating blood. I really sad when I hear some of us said that some of the policemen does not want the donated blood to be donated to the non-Muslim. Really rascist. Really orthodox, short-minded people.

That's just about donating blood. The worst thing is some of the policemen did not want his sub-ordinates' work time to be disturbed with the prayer time. If the people who said that is non-Muslim, I understand. But, these word are said by a Muslim.

Really, Muslim nowadays. No wonder, most the non-Muslim cannot understand Islam, even after 51 years of independence.

* * *

Nukilan,

The Two Poems

Today, I'm going to republish my poems that are published in the anthology Lambaian Teluk for your reading. I chose two poems to be sent to the publisher: Sentiasa and Seloka Kelas 4A. Please enjoy and understand them.

* * *
SENTIASA

Sentiasa
sebarkan kebenaran
kepada manusia
walau ada yang menghalang
walau dilempar maki hamun
walau dijijik dihina

Sentiasa
menjadi orang yang benar
jangan menjadi pendusta
walau ada yang tidak membenar
walau ada yang mendusta

Sentiasa
tegakkan kebenaran
walau nyawa menjadi taruhan
di medan kebenaran syahidnya diri
kerana janji Allah tak pernah dimungkiri
ganjaran syurga menjadi bukti
syahidnya diri di jalan Tuhan Yang Maha Mengetahui

SELOKA KELAS 4A

Aduhai 4A, wahai 4A!
Malang sungguh nasibmu 4A,
Dipenuhi dengan manusia dusta,
Manusia jujur sedikit sahaja.

Dalam ujian ada yang meniru,
Ujian Sejarah, Ujian Bahasa Melayu,
Puan Rauzan sedih pilu,
Puan Halipah sesal tidak menentu.

Nasihat lembut tidak diendahkan,
Nasihat keras tidak memberi kesan.

Akal bijak disalahgunakan,
Akhirnya akhlak menjadi pinggiran.

Ada akal disalahguna,
Ada amanah dinista,
Ada ilmu tidak diguna,
Ada cerdik tidak bertempat,
Ada cergas membawa mudarat,
Ada cikgu tidak dihormat.

Sayang! Sayang!
Patutkah mereka dibiarkan
Sehingga mereka kebuluran
Akhlak dan kesopanan?
Sehingga mereka miskin
Budi dan nilai murni?

Biarkan, biarkan...!
Mereka tidak mungkin berjaya,
Kerana Allah sangat murka,
Maka mereka gagallah sentiasa
Maka mereka bodohlah sentiasa
Kerana amalan mereka.

I know, the second poem will lead to a controversy. But, I can't let other people doing the same mistake....

Good News and Bad News

At the moment I write the title of today's entry, I was wondering, which one should I share with you all first: good news or bad news? Then, I decided to wrote about bad news first, although it came after good news actually.

Bad News
My mum went to clinic as usual today. Well, she's now pregnant for my future-younger-brother/sister. However, she did not come home at the afternoon. Only my dad came back at 1 o'clock, then went to the clinic again at 2.

At 3 o'clock, he came back and told me, my mum was placed in ward for high blood pressure.

O.O

Decided to follow my dad, we went to Sarawak General Hospital, which are located near our home. At there, she was sent to Maternity Ward II. And she will stay there until her blood pressure is back to normal.

I was praying for her health (although she always lecturing me and give me harsh words). :P

Good News
This is the courtesy of yesterday's entry. No complains here, for sure.

After taking short nap at the afternoon, I woke up at 4 p.m. I opened my computer to upload my calligraphy signature (as you can see at the end of every entry, starting yesterday). I was told by one of my online friends, who also a young author (just like me) and a big fan of Ramlee Awang Murshid (:D), Nurfatihah Athirah about a good news to me (below are the translation of our conversation yesterday):
Nurfatihah Athirah: Assalamualaikum...
Abdul Hakim Lukhman: Walaikumussalam...
Nurfatihah Athirah: Just now I'm online, but you didn't... hehehehe...
Nurfatihah Athirah: Emm... I want to tell you that...
Abdul Hakim Lukhman: Yea?
Nurfatihah Athirah: About your poems... they now published in the anthology Lambaian Teluk
Abdul Hakim Lukhman: Ohhh...
Abdul Hakim Lukhman: Really...?
Abdul Hakim Lukhman: All praise to God...
Nurfatihah Athirah: My mum and I already tried to talk with the Sarawakian authors from PERKASA to send tyhe anthology book with the bags for the present participants (there's still more bags, it's a coincidence)
Nurfatihah Athirah: But, maybe they haven't arrived back yet.. I'm not sure when they arrived at Kuching..
Nurfatihah Athirah: So, try to contact Cikgu Zaidie...
And that's did not end there.

This morning, I visit some of updated blogs, including her blog. To my surprise, she wrote this:
Itupun dihantar melalui penulis Labuan.
(The Sarawakian author mentioned in her blog is me. I send my poems via her.)

And this:
Hehehe... (sempat lagi mengatil???)
(This is because, I used the pseudonym Abdul Hakim Lukhman Al-Yusufi, so of course my poems appear first)

And this:

Kata ibu, kena beri perhatianlah Lukhman tu nanti.

Iaitu JAYA RAMBA.
What the...? =.=

Now, I'm on the way getting my copy of Lambaian Teluk and the articles during the Dialog Teluk VI.

Apa nak jadi, sana salahguna kuasa, sini salahguna kuasa.

(Memang nak kiamat pun.)

Arghh....

Islamic-themed Detective Fiction

Well, today's literature talk.

Today, I put this sentence as my personal message for Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger:
Is it possible for me to produce Islamic-theme detective story?
And today also, I found the possibility for it.

First Evidence:
Criminal investigation (or rather called it forensic science) had been used since the early era of Islam. For instance, Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h.) was able to recognize the father of a baby by just comparing the baby's face with the face of the man (who made illegal sex intercourse with the woman).

Second Evidence:
After the Battle of Badar, there were two Muslim men, went to meet the Messenger of Allah (p.b.u.h.), each of them claimed that they killed Abu Jahal. The Messenger of Allah asked them whether they had cleaned their swords. Both of them brought their swords that had not been cleaned (still got blood stains on the swords), and the Messenger of Allah examine the swords before determining the man who killed Abu Jahal. However, the way the Messenger of Allah did to determine it was not stated.

Third Evidence:
In the time of Caliph Umar bin Al-Khattab's reign, there was an Ansari woman who fell in love to a handsome man. She tried to seduce the man, but failed. One day, she accused the man for doing something onto her.

Caliph Umar nearly believe the woman's accusation. If not because Ali bin Abu Talib, the innocent man already had been executed by Caliph Umar.

Ali bin Abu Talib - imagined by Shiites

A few women were gathered to recognize the semen trace on the Ansari woman's clothes. They recognized the traces left as the dried semen trace.

However, Ali bin Abu Talib wisely poured hot water onto the clothes, and the semen trace turned into a white solid. Indeed, Ali bin Abu Talib tasted the white solid until the Ansari woman became afraid. Then, the woman admitted that she lied, by wiping white egg at her clothes.

Fourth Evidence:
In the famous Islamic literature story One Thousand and One Nights, there was a story where can be said that the first detective fiction in Arabic literature.

In that part of the story, Caliph Harun al-Rasyid ordered his vizier Jaafar bin Yahya to investigate the murder case in three days. If Jaafar bin Yahya failed to found out the culprit, he will be executed.

Caliph Harun al-Rasyid, the fifth Abbasid caliph

Honestly, when I found out the fact in the Fourth Evidence, I was surprised. I did not expect that the Muslims were among the earliest people founding the detective fiction with the Chinese. Indeed, they were among the earliest people practicing forensic investigation. I really salute them for their creativity.
